Peds Surgery is busy. It's probably as busy as I've been in months. The kids are kind of cute, although most of them are little bundled-up thingamaboppers that I can't seem to tell apart, except for where their beds are located. And then there are the endless circumcisions. I'm going to have to side with the Apostle Paul regarding that. Forget theological reasons, I'd just like to lighten my workload a little bit.
And my big annual in-service exam is coming up in a few weeks. I really should be studying more. It would be nice if I didn't fail it.
A sad personal record to note: I brushed my teeth very early Thursday morning before work, stayed overnight and had a brutal call night which basically lasted into the next morning, and had a very busy Friday morning before coming home early Friday afternoon, at which point I still hadn't brushed my teeth again. I fell asleep when I got home and slept through the rest of the day and night, woke up Saturday morning, and bummed around the house because it was snowing too much to bother going anywhere. Bumming around included not brushing my teeth. So by the time I dusted off my toothbrush Saturday night, it had been something like 66ish hours in between brushings. At that rate, my tube of toothpaste may last me the remainder of my residency, but my enamel surely won't. Sorry, teeth, I'll do better.
Speaking of disgusting things of the os, Che and Christine went and bought marshmallows and we spotted a herd of full-figured hares.

Happy New Year.
